MY WORK

Inclusive dance artist

I am a Christchurch based Freelance Contemporary Dancer, Teacher and Choreographer. I trained in Contemporary Dance under the direction of the late Sheryl Robinson then continuing on to complete my Bachelor of Dance Performance at the Adelaide College of the Arts. I have worked for a number of Nationally recognised artists and Companies such as Jolt Dance, Jolt Interactive and Jolt dance company, Southern Lights, Oncunscious Dance Corp, Julia Harvey, Julia Mckerrow and Fleur de Their. I have also worked for International Choreographers Leigh Warren, Riki Von Falken (Germany), Alex Rigg (Scotland) and Shine On Dance Company (London). I have performed and choreographed for the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra, Epic entertainment and for Tami Neilson in her music video “Lonely”. I am passionate about teaching inclusive dance and absolutely love my job as a Jolt tutor for the adults 1 and 2 classes. Dance for those with intellectual and physical disabilities is a huge part of who i am and the work i have fallen in love with. I also teach in mainstream dance schools i am currently the Contemporary director for the full time contemporary course at the Anneliese Gilberd Academy. I teach junior and adults contemporary dance classes and take on private lessons. I have choreographed for a range of performers including solo performances for Alana Haines Australasian Awards.
